Singer/Actor and self-proclaimed “vision implementer,” Tyrese, took to the ring on Saturday night to help kick-off the well-anticipated Floyd Mayweather “Fight Night”.
Get the details after the jump!
Opening up the Mayweather vs. Maidana fight with a performance of the “Star Spangled Banner,” the 35-year-old felt as if he could have done better. Addressing his so-called “horrible” performance before the public attacked, Tyrese – as like many famed artists – took to Twitter to vent his frustration with what seemed to be a lackluster performance in his eyes.
While a few people have scolded his “racist free America” quote at the beginning and his plug at the end, overall the performance wasn’t as bad as the talented superstar claimed it was. However, we guess it serves true that you’ll never be satisfied with the work that you put out to the public.
Take a gander at the performance below and catch his aftermath tweets!
I just watched it….. I sounded horrible tonight on the anthem……. I will say it myself….. Good #American moment but not my best!
