Although we just stepped into the summer, The Weeknd is making plans for the fall. Rebooting his tour and retitling it ‘King of the Fall,’ the Toronto native is ready to bring the mystery back to our lives.
Featuring Cali artists Jhené Aiko and Schoolboy Q, the four-day event will host the trio performing some of their top hits. Kicking off in September and running until October, the short tour is sure to be one that’s remembered forever by any fan of the Canadian singer.
Announcing the news shortly after the release of his new single, “Often,” one can’t help but wonder if this means a new EP or LP is on the way soon. It also raises the question on if we can expect a collaboration from the three talented artists as well. While Jhené and The Weeknd both served as acts on Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour” set earlier this year, it’s still interesting to see all three of these great acts join forces.
Guess we’ll have to wait it out and see what’s poppin’!
