Marsha Ambrosius has finally answered her martians prayers with the release of her much-anticipated sophomore album Friends & Lovers, which is in stores today!
While doing promo for the release in NYC, Marsha blessed us as the latest artist to perform for ThisisRnB Sessions. Seated at the grand piano in StadiumRed Studios, the British songstress performed an incredible three-song set. Following her soul-stirring acoustic rendition of “Stronger Than Pride,” Marsha so swiftly transitioned into the LP’s lead single “Run,” as she had us hanging on every word with her beautiful acoustic rendition. Lastly she closed with “So Good,” which is the first full song on the new album, and if any of you have already heard it, than you already know this is a must-see performance.
Each song she delivered effortlessly in one take, and those notes…whewww…she’s got notes for days!
