The Definition of a Band!!!!

Mint Condition is a R&B band from St. Paul, Minnesota that was discovered by production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. The group is well known for its diverse musical style (and the ability to play anything from traditional jazz stylings to mainstream R&B to rock based music to funk). The band is also well known for their well written and produced R&B ballads, mainly in the 1990s.

“What Kind of Man Would I Be?” was a single from their Definition of A Band album, which was about remaining faithful in a relationship. The single hit No. 2 on the Billboard R&B chart & No. 17 on the Hot 100. The single received a Gold certification by the RIAA. “What Kind Of Man Would I Be?” was so popular that it stayed on the Billboard R&B Charts for a total of 41 weeks before it finally fell off.
