Blue Note Records newest soulstress Kandace Springs glides into our speakers with her dreamy new single “Meet Me In The Sky.”
Fresh off her performance at SOB’s ‘Sol Village’ showcase this past Wednesday, the Tennessee native delivers the syrupy smooth, just jazzy enough tune, which is off her self-titled debut EP, due out September 30.
Already receiving a co-sign from the legendary Prince, who has tweeted out her music, and set to make her television performance debut on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ on October 3, Kandace is certainly one to watch out for.
“Tell me what you’re doin to me / You say you want it all baby, I want to see / I’m ready as I’ll ever be, and I’ll give you the key if you make me believe,” she confidently sings over lush keys.
