BJ the Chicago Kid has been mia for quite some time, but with the success of his assisted single “Studio” by Schoolboy Q, hopefully we will get some fresh material from the R&B crooner this year.
Blessing fans with a brand new visual today, BJ flips Fabolous and Jeremih’s collaboration “Thim Slick,” off the Brooklyn rappers mixtape Soul Tape 3. The Windy City native delivers his own soulful tribute to the natural beauties who might not be considered sexy by fashion magazine standards, but are “Perfect” in his eyes.
Featuring various ladies of various sizes trying on outfits while looking in the mirror, the singer/songwriter offers them some confident words over the piano-laden track.
“That body perfect in my eyes / No matter what they say, everything will be just right / You’ve got that blessing in disguise,” he sings.
