Blue Note Records new soulstress Kandace Springs wastes no time bringing us more material off her forthcoming EP.
Following up last week’s release of “West Coast,” the Tennessee native gives fans and new listeners another taste of her jazzy, retro-soul sound with the mellow “Forbidden Fruit.”
“Forbidden fruit, why do I crave you / Why did God make you just to torture me,” she softly coos to an untouchable love interest over the dreamy production.
Set to make her television performance debut on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ on October 3, Kandace will release her self-titled debut EP on September 30, with a full-length album scheduled for the spring of 2015.
