Prince keeps the surprises coming. For a Labor Day treat the music icon has shared a second record off his anticipated new solo album ART OFFICIAL AGE, which is 1 of 2 new albums the legend will be releasing on September 30.
Today, following the announcement of the double album release and first single “Clouds,” the Purple One gives us the smooth, seductive, piano laden “U Know.” Opening with a rap-like flow Prince alerts his latest lady that if she went with him she would never have any complaints.
“You know how much I want ya / You know how much I care / You gon know I’m gon flaunt ya,” he coos with his classic falsetto.
Prince is currently prepping for the release of his 13-track solo album, ART OFFICIAL AGE, and debut album with his new band 3rdEyeGirl, PLECTRUMELECTRUM, which will both be released on September 30 via his new venture with Warner Bros. Records.
