Luke James
More often than not, true R&B talents miss the shine that they deserve. This case is nothing less than true for R&B crooner Luke James. While his self-titled debut album was an incredible display of his gifts, it has been passed over by many. Debatably one of the strongest projects from 2014, the album yielding tracks such as “Dancing In The Dark,” “Love XYZ,” “Exposé,” and more, would give some of the great talents a run for their money.
Although he may still be young in age, Luke’s talent – vocally and on stage – far exceeds the majority of his male competitors as he remains true to authentic R&B. His dedication, determination, and faithfulness in the genre have all worked together to land him a comfortable spot on this year’s list.
Thank you for this post! Today is not the easiest time for R&B artists and listeners but we gotta thank people that keep doing their magic and even pushing this genre forward.
I would also add to this list is Rochelle Jordan & JSMN
Nah, Turn up the list to 12 rather and include Chrisette Michele And Rochelle Jordan!
