Frank Ocean surprises fans with a tribute to Aaliyah on what would have been the late singers 36th birthday. The singer-songwriter pays homage to Baby Girl with a cover of The Isley Brothers’ 1976 classic “At Your Best (You Are Love),” which Aaliyah covered on her debut album Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number.
The Grammy-winning crooner took to his Tumblr page to share the tender tribute, showcasing his falsetto.
In November, Ocean teased a new song called “Memrise” and has been working on the follow-up to his 2012 Grammy-winning album channel ORANGE with producers including Hit-Boy and Rodney Jerkins.
