Love it or hate it, Beyoncé had everyone talking about her performance at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night. Singing a commanding cover of the gospel hymn “Take My Hand, Precious Lord,” which was sung by Ledisi for the film Selma, Bey helped bring everyone to church prior to John Legend and Common’s powerful show closing performance.
Now, Bey is giving fans a look behind the scenes at the rehearsals, introducing the additional voices behind her performance and sharing her inspiration behind the cast of male singers.
“I wanted to find real men, that have lived, have struggled, cried, have a life and spirit about them. I felt like this is an opportunity to show the strength and vulnerability in black men,” shared Beyoncé.
