Mario is finally back with new music, in the form of his party single “Fireball,” which is his first release since going independent. The R&B singer visited ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Friday morning for a new interview to officially introduce the single, and give fans an update on his current situation.
Mario addressed why he left his deal and shared his feelings on the current industry. He spoke about the unreleased collaborative project that he previously recorded with Rico Love, which is owned by RCA and will probably never be released. He revealed that he is writing or co-writing all of his new music, which he didn’t do much of in the past because, as he claims, his previous team didn’t believe in him as a writer.
He talked about how his relationship is with his mother now, who was previously an addict, the work he does for kids with his foundation, and his feelings about having kids of his own.
