ByStorm/RCA Records signee Treasure Davis has finally returned with the follow-up to her soulful, fan favorite single “May The Bitter Man Win.” The singer-songwriter teams up with Kid Ink this time on the bouncy, Pop & Oak produced “Simple.”
Over a rolling bass line and heavy percussion Davis calls out her man for being a bum, but admits she keeps going back even though she knows he is no good.
“Why the f*ck am I so god damn simple / Everything you do makes me resentful / I say I’m done for good but that depends though / ‘Cause I always end up wanting to kiss you,” she regretfully sings, while Kid Ink add his own hip hop flavor.
