Chris Brown and Trey Songz have been surprising audiences with guest appearances during various stops on their joint “Between The Sheets” tour. Possibly the biggest surprise yet happened on Monday night during their show in Atlanta at the Philips Arena.
Generations of R&B stars combined for a legendary moment when Breezy and Trigga welcomed both R. Kelly and Keith Sweat to join them on stage and perform some of their own classics!
With Chris and Trey’s recent collaborative tribute song to R. Kelly with “Songs on 12 Play,” it was only right to bring out the R&B King himself to show them how it’s done! Kellz performed multiple fan favorites including “Ignition (Remix),” “Your Body’s Callin,” “Bump N’ Grind,” and of course “12 Play.”
Chris praised Kellz for his contributions to music saying he is the reason they make the music they make, but then joked saying, “I wouldn’t let my momma come to this concert she’s tryin to give you some p***y, I’m like hell no!”
Keeping the surprises coming, they also introduced Keith Sweat who performed his classic single “Nobody.” In addition to the R&B legends they had a bunch of rap surprises as well bringing out T.I., Jeezy, Future, Yo Gotti, YG, Fabolous, B.o.B, Que, and OG Maco.
What a show! Check out the fan footage below:
I wish Milwaukee would get Keith Sweat and R Kelly here for Summerfest….miss their music.
