Ciara is headed to primetime TV. The singer has scored a gig on NBC’s new variety show “I Can Do That.”
According to Variety, the unconventional series, hosted by Marlon Wayans, will challenge its celebrity cast members to go beyond their comfort zones and act out each week.
In addition to Ciara, the six regulars who will compete include Nicole Scherzinger, Joe Jonas, “Dancing With the Stars” alum Cheryl Burke, comedian Jeff Dye, and actor Alan Ritchson.
The cast will work in pairs each week to put on an act with the help of guest stars. At the end of the six episodes, one of the regulars will be named “the ultimate entertainer.”
“I Can Do That” has already started filming and is set to air this summer.
Ciara is also working on her sixth album Jackie and recently shot a video for the first single “I Bet.”
