“The show will go on!” said Tinashe. Well, not really, but we’re sure those were somewhat along the lines of what she murmured when Iggy Azalea said that her Great Escape Tour would be postponed until the fall.
While both Tinashe and Nick Jonas were originally featured on the tour, each one has decided to pursue other avenues while Miss Azalea regroups for a fall tour. That being said, Tinashe has wasted NO time getting the ball moving.
Announcing that not only will she be going on her own summer tour (info soon to be released), the singer-songwriter will also be releasing a brand new mixtape on March 16. Titled Amethyst, the mixtape will serve as her first body of work since the release of her debut album Aquarius last year. Receiving its title from her birthstone, the follow-up to 2013’s critically acclaimed Black Water will host seven new songs for your listening pleasure.
