Following the release of his music video for “Dumb Sh*t” featuring Snoop Dogg, Tyrese is giving fans a sneak peek at the making of the visual.
The exclusive behind-the-scenes footage features interviews with Tyrese, Snoop and the video’s director Matt Alonzo, along with scenes from a surprise birthday party for Tyrese from the cast and crew. Seen joining in on the celebration are R. Kelly, French Montana, Snoop, and Wiz Khalifa.
“The #DumbShit video is a throwback to the classic Hype Williams era and black and white videos like ‘Flava In Ya Ear’ remix, Q-Tip’s ‘Vibrant Thing,’ or Snoop’s ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot,’” says Tyrese. “Matt Alonzo and I had a ball making it. It’s spring and as we warm up, I wanted to drop this dumb shit to get some energy going. This song ain’t for saints, it’s for real people who have made mistakes in relationships and did some dumb shit. ”
“Dumb Sh*t” is the first single released from Gibson’s upcoming album, BLACK ROSE, due out July 7 via his own label, Voltron Recordz.
