In light of the ongoing protests throughout the nation, artists near and far have been lending their voice to be heard. And now, R&B crooner Sammie can be added to that list.
Delivering the heartfelt ballad titled “Dear America,” Sammie pens an open letter to the patrons of the country addressing the issues that are very much prevalent right now. Singing out, “But what’s so wrong with my skin that I’m in? That I’m in, that I’m in / Nothing’s wrong with my skin that I’m in, that I’m in, that I’m in / Oh, dear America,” Sammie sets the tone of appreciation and motivation for those who can relate to his stand on the current issues.
