At only 23-years-old Karina Pasian has already had a long career in the music industry. After a bidding war brought her to sign with Def Jam Records, and release her first single at 16 years old, the New York native went on to release only 1 album through the label (the Grammy-nominated First Love). Through the years Pasian has stayed busy traveling the world sharing her musical gifts, and recording for the love of the music.
In late 2011 she returned with an EP for all of her fans entitled Trips to Venus, which spawned a special edition instead of an official sequel in 2014.
Now, the singer/musician is ready to make her official comeback! She has revealed the news via a short teaser video, and announced the name of her forthcoming EP ‘Parallel World,’ which is due out this fall.
“It’s been a while… There have been a lot of ups and downs trying to find myself, and learning to fall in love with the music again,” Karina tells ThisisRnB exclusively. “Although it was a long struggle, it’s inevitable. Music runs through my veins and I’m so excited to open up and share who I’ve become.”
Leading up to the release Pasian will be dropping new content weekly/biweekly on her new YouTube page. Check out her announcement video below, and stay tuned for new music coming soon!
