Janelle Monáe and her talented roster of artists are ready to give the world a taste of their comprehensive sound.
Announcing their tour today, the summer trek – powered by Toyota – kicks off on August 12 in Philadelphia and spans eight cities. In addition, the crew will play a free secret show at a currently undisclosed location, which fans can RSVP for now at Wondaland.com. Artists found on the tour in addition to Janelle include the “Classic Man” himself Jidenna, singer Roman GianArthur, funk duo Deep Cotton, and R&B group St. Beauty.
In celebration of the tour, Wondaland Records will release the six-track compilation EP Wondaland Presents: The Eephus to digital retailers. The project features the hit “Yoga,” as well as Kendrick Lamar’s remix to “Classic Man.”
