With the growing success of Canadian singer The Weeknd, it was only a short matter of time before the official news of his much-anticipated new album was announced.
Formally sharing the details himself via Twitter, The Weeknd – who found a heightened amount of success with his single “Earned It” – revealed the new album is titled, Beauty Behind the Madness and it is due out next month!
The album, which serves as the follow-up to 2013’s Kiss Land, will host 14-tracks including “Often,” “The Hills,” and the recently released, “Can’t Feel My Face.”
Making the announcement shortly after the pre-order was released internationally on iTunes before being taken down, Abel let fans know that the official pre-order will be coming soon. Set to be released on August 28, the album comes right in time for The Weeknd’s headlining gig at the “Made In America” festival in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend. He will also perform at Lollapalooza next month.
