In case you didn’t know, Los Angeles based R&B/Soul band The Internet – fronted by Syd and Matt Martians – quietly have one of the best albums of the year with Ego Death. Now ready to take their act back on the road, the group has announced the “Ego Death Tour,” which kicks off Sept. 8 at the El Rey in Los Angeles. The fall trek will travel across North America through November, making stops in cities such as Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, and many more before closing out back in their hometown on Nov. 14 at the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
Ego Death is The Internet’s most evolved album to date featuring special guests such as Janelle Monáe, Tyler The Creator, Vic Mensa and more. The lead singles “Girl” and “Under Control” have found great success at radio with massive support from Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Sirius XM “The Heat,” and BBC Radio 1. “Under Control” is the No. 2 Most Added Track and currently sitting in the Top 30 of Urban AC radio.
