Youngin’ is getting ready to drop his sophomore album!
August Alsina took to Instagram to announce the title of his new LP, This Thing Called Life, while sharing some clips of DJ Khaled giving the project strong feedback.
“The structure’s unbelievable, man. Not lying to you, it’s on my mama,” Khaled told August. “I like the way you sequenced the album. I love the music. The only time I’ve ever heard albums like that was Dr. Dre’s Chronic or Nas’ Illmatic.”
The project has already spawned two singles, “Hip-Hop” and “Why I Do It” featuring Lil Wayne. Alsina will also appear on Khaled’s upcoming new single “Gold Slug” along with Chris Brown and Fetty Wap.
This Thing Called Life is curently due this fall.
