New Music: Sam Smith – Writing’s On The Wall (James Bond Theme)

By

Sam-Smith

If you weren’t convinced that Sam Smith‘s talents were legit, this might change your mind.

Delivering the theme to the upcoming James Bond movie Spectre, the UK vocalist gives us just what we need to continue the growing anticipation for the newest installment to the action-packed line of films of dapper gentleman.

Penned by both Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes – who also produced the track with a little assistance from Disclosure – the lovely new single titled “Writing’s On The Wall”  has Smith transferring between his baritone and falsetto heights over an addicting orchestral production. “I just hope people listen to it and think ‘That’s Bond. That sounds like a Bond theme.’ That’s what I want,” he said when speaking of the new tune.

Singing out, “How do I live? / How do I breathe? / When you’re not here, I’m suffocating,” Sam delivers yet another song that reveals just how talented he is.
