Tinashe Covers Bleachers’ “I Wanna Get Better,” Announces New Single Release

Well here’s something we didn’t expect.

Young songstress Tinashe reworks the popular Bleachers single “I Wanna Get Better” for the Terrible Thrills, Vol. 2 album – an all-female rendition of Bleachers’ debut project Strange Desire.

Supplying her vocals over the blend of 808 claps and rhythmic tunes, the “All Hands On Deck” singer changed it up for fans this time around. Even if this isn’t your type of music originally, you can’t help but flashback to the late ’80s / early ’90s and bop your head to this one.

Terrible Thrills, Vol. 2 is available for free download now on Google Play.

In addition to releasing the cover, Tinashe also announced that her Chris Brown assisted single, “Player” will be hitting our ears on Friday, October 2! Two tracks in one week? Let’s just hope “Player” lives up to the hype!

Take a listen to her cover of “I Wanna Get Better” below and get ready for Tinashe’s sophomore release, Joyride, this November.

New song coming Friday 10•2•15 #PLAYER
