It seems like every week there is a new remix of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” surfacing, but today’s has got to be the biggest shock.
Fat Baby Bella herself, yes Erykah Badu has surprised with a remake of the catchy tune, and announced that she has a mixtape coming out called ‘But U Cain’t Use My Phone.’ While most will keep a remix at the original songs length or shorter, Badu brings us a 7-minute psychedelic trip, slowing it down midway through with a comedic skit and tantalizing interpolation.
She credits her and Andre 3000’s son Seven as a co-writer on the remix as well.
