While promoting his new children’s book ‘Happy!,’ Pharrell Williams stopped by “Ellen” on Monday. Rocking a denim shirt and overalls, the hitmaker performed his latest single “Freedom” with some help from the Baes, and delivered an inspiring speech. He even invited some ladies in the audience to join him on stage, culminating with one big dance party.
“At a time where it seems like they keep trying to take everything from us—equality, love, religion,” said Pharrell. “It just seems like this is the time more than ever that we need to stand up for ourselves. Do you agree?”
