Up-and-coming artist Richard King is ready to re-introduce himself to R&B fans everywhere, and the wait has definitely been worth it.
Under the direction of songwriter/producer Troy Taylor – who served as a mentor to Trey Songz – the Detroit native is ready to deliver what we’ve been waiting for since his arrival with last year’s smooth and sexy “Plus One.”
Keeping with the seductive and addictive vibe of the aforementioned, Thoughts of a King Vol. 1 hosts an array of sounds for the R&B lover. From taking it back with samples of both Guy’s 1988 hit-single “I Like” and Ginuwine’s 1996 breakout single “Pony,” to the projects raunchier tracks, “Who Knew” and “Slave,” RK gives a proper re-introduction to what he’s bringing to the game.
Take a listen to the project below, as well as the downloadable bonus holiday track “Go Santa, Go,” and be sure to catch Richard in upcoming episodes of the Men Are Crazy Too web-series!
