Any fan of R. Kelly knows how much he loves to ball, so on Tuesday he showed up early to sing the national anthem at the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks game at the Barclays Center, and he shot around with some players.
Decked out in a dapper blazer and matching turtle neck, with shades on and a cigar in his mouth, the R&B icon drained a 3-pointer with ease.
Prior to tip-off Kellz took the court and belted out “The Star-Spangled Banner,” as only the king of R&B can, while the crowed cheered him on. Kelly is prepping for the release of his 13th solo album, The Buffet, due out in December.
