Leon Bridges has broken out as a critical darling this year and rightfully so, as his debut album Coming Home is an excellent body of work, re-imagining 1960s soul.
Taking a break from touring, Bridges made an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Friday night and gave a brilliant performance. Back by his full band, Leon delivered their original song “Twistin’ & Groovin’,” and covered Sam Cooke’s classic, “Jesus Gave Me Water.”
