Buzzing producer Nineteen85 wastes no time following up his impressive releases “With Me” and “The Line,” with the third single off his mysterious project DVSN. The track, titled “Too Deep,” picks up the lead from the previous efforts and continues to build further interest in the project and the artist.
Nineteen85 is best known for his work on Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “Too Much,” and “Hotline Bling,” as well as Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne’s “Truffle Butter.” So while he has a great grasp on sparse soundscapes for blending R&B and rap melodies, he might be truly delivering his most compelling work with this new project. The latest effort feels like beautiful trap soul, as a male and female singer trade sex drenched harmonies over a moaning 808 and sharp snares.
