No need to worry, Janet Jackson is absolutely fine and setting the record straight—she does not have cancer.

In response to rumors that she had been diagnosed with throat cancer, the iconic singer took to Twitter to share a message with her concerned fans.

In a two-minute video clip that she posted her you YouTube channel, Jackson quotes lyrics from her Unbreakable song “The Great Forever” before slamming the rumors.

“Remember… believe it when you hear it from my lips,” she says. “The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering.”

Last month, Jackson postponed the remaining dates on her “Unbreakable World Tour” until the spring to undergo surgery. She did not specify what she needed surgery for and said that there will be no further comment.

Now that she’s in recovery, she has been cleared to return to the road. The European leg of her tour will kick off as planned on March 30 in Birmingham, U.K. and continue until May 3.

“My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love,” she told her fans.

The worldwide trek, which kicked off in August, was set to continue on Jan. 9 in Denver. She will honor the tickets when rescheduled dates are announced.
