Rising artist Maurice Moore returns with his first joint of the new year, and he’s joining in on the love for fellow rising star Kehlani. Known for her nickname Tsunami, the 19-year-old Canadian singer pays homage to the Bay Area native while sharing his love for her with his own metaphor, “Typhoon.”
“It’s 2016 and I’ve officially been alive for 19 years now… to celebrate living on cloud 19 I made this song dedicated to one of the most beautiful souls in music right now, the wavy baby @kehlanimusic,” wrote Maurice.
“So far apart girl, that real 6 is where I stay / I’ve been at it girl, you stay working in LA / Your wave is astonishing, it’s like conquering your wave is the greatest accomplishment,” he sings.
