Rising R&B newcomer JR Castro has been continuously releasing stellar material since he broke onto the scene in the summer of 2015 with the catchy single “Get Home.” The North Side Las Vegas native has received some major co-signs along the way, including Timbaland, who is executive producing his upcoming EP, You.
Earlier this week, the singer/songwriter released his hot new single, “Right Away,” and revealed that his upcoming project features collaborations with Pusha T, Migos, Kid Ink, YG, and Sevyn Streeter.
Today, JR gives us a look into his studio and provides us with an exclusive update on his forthcoming music, which includes the ‘You’ and ‘I‘ EPs, and a mixtape titled ‘Songs You Were Made To‘ hosted by DJ Carisma, which features covers of classic R&B songs. Additionally, Castro talks about his team, his producers The Audibles, and his business/writing partner Poo Bear (Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber).
