New music from R. Kelly today wasn’t enough, the R&B King has officially announced the dates for “The Buffet Tour.”
Kellz is set to kick off the 40-city U.S. trek at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio and travel to cities including Detroit, Cleveland, Miami, and Chicago, among others, before closing out at Philips Arena in Atlanta on June 11.
According to a press release, “The Buffet Tour” promises to “be one of R. Kelly’s most entertaining shows to date.” He will be joined by a live band and backup dancers while performing songs for the first time live.
“I’m extremely excited to head back on tour and see all of my amazing fans,” said R. Kelly. “‘The Buffet Tour’ is one you don’t want to miss, I’ve changed everything for this tour including the stage setup. Plus the production is crazy!”
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 25. Pre-sale tickets will be available on March 23 for fans who use a promo code found on Kelly’s social media accounts.
The tour, which follows 2015’s “Black Panties Tour,” comes in support of his 13th LP The Buffet, which was released in December.
