Taking a break from her “Joyride Tour” for a quick visit to SXSW, Tinashe sat down with Complex for a brief interview about the status of her anticipated sophomore album Joyride.
While the LP has seen a few push backs since it’s originally intended release, the singer/songwriter admitted to experiencing a little struggle with her label on securing a release date, and in turn leaking her own music.
Additionally, she spoke about some of the collaborations on the album, including the already released singles with Chris Brown and Young Thug. Tinashe also shared her hopes to work with Andre 3000 and Kanye West in the future.
