It’s been a little while since we’ve received something new from Jade De Lafleur, but that changes now with the singer/songwriter’s sexy remix of PartyNextDoor and Drake’s “Come and See Me.”
Similar to the original’s downplayed vibe, Jade brings more seduction to the floating production requesting her lovers presence and attention, for once.
“Papoose and Remy, this love and hip hop / Like Diddy and Cassie on Apple Ciroc / Jay and Beyoncé, lets have a Blue Ivy,” she cleverly sings.
The remix/cover serves as a prelude to Jade’s forthcoming sophomore EP, which will be released this summer. The Louisiana native released her independent debut EP, Jaded in 2014.
