Releasing the song at the very end of April, R&B veteran Dave Hollister now returns with the sexy music video for his romantic new single “Definition of A Woman.”
The singer, who broke out as one of the defining voices in Teddy Riley’s Blackstreet, has been working on his new album The MANuscript, and he is prepping it for an August 26 release through a partnership with Shanachie Entertainment, Conjunction Entertainment and TopNotch Music. On the project’s lead single, Hollister brings back romance with the touching piano ballad, which celebrates the love a man can have for a woman.
“Love feels so good. Those of us men who have been fortunate enough to experience true love wrapped in romance can attest to the fact that there’s nothing else like it. It’s a very specific feeling to have the love of a woman,” he says about the inspiration for the song.
In the video, Hollister recruits model/actress Lisa Raye as his leading lady and co-star. “LisaRaye is a hometown girl man, always been a beautiful spirit and she’s so graceful and pleasant to work with,” he said. “Lisa Raye brought a warmth and a light to this video that only she could, and it was easy working with my homie versus a stranger, so…easy day for me!”
