Tinashe had double duty at the BET Awards, as a presenter and after-show host, but fans have been anxiously waiting for news on the status of her sophomore album Joyride.
Previously, the singer/songwriter/producer postponed her “Joyride World Tour” to finish up the album, but it has been continuously delayed, as random songs were being tested as singles, and leaked off the project.
While visiting the press room during the BET Experience weekend however, Tinashe shared some news and announced her next single! Sitting down for an interview with Tampa Bay radio station 95.7 The Beat, she announced that her next single is titled, “Super Love,” and it could be out in “a few weeks.”
“I have new music coming too that I’m so excited about,” she said. “I’ve been working on it for awhile. The album is called Joyride. I’ve got a new single called ‘Super Love’ and I’m so excited to get it out there. I’ve been working, putting my heart and soul into this new stuff.”
As fans know all too well, Tinashe has been crafting Joyride for quite some time. The follow-up to her 2014 debut Aquarius, doesn’t have a release date yet, but she promises that it’s coming “soon.”
