Here’s a nice surprise.
After releasing her rendition of “Have You Ever” from the tribute album to reggae legend Dennis Brown, We Remember Dennis Brown, back in March, Marsha Ambrosius now debuts a colorful, romantic visual for the cover song.
Exploring a record shop on a chill day, Marsha meets up with her lover and the two share some intimate moments in the store, and in a tropical setting.
Explaining her nostalgic tie to the “Crown Prince of Reggae,” Marsha said, “Dennis Brown and reggae music makes me reminisce, my fond memories of growing up in London when reggae music was and still is prominent…I can still smell the food my mother was cooking, I can hear the vacuum cleaner early hours on a Saturday morning, British pirate radio stations always playing The Crown Prince of Reggae!”
