OVO Sound’s breakout mystery act dvsn has hit the road on their summer tour, and on Friday (June 10) they made their first U.S. stop in San Francisco, for a sold-out show at the Swedish American Hall.
Performing for the Bay Area crowd, singer Daniel Daley brought his infectious creations live and direct for one of the very first times. Back in March, the group made their official live debut at SXSW in Austin, Texas. In addition to performing cuts off their acclaimed debut album Sept. 5th, Daley and his 3 Church-like back-up singers performed a medley of tributes to Prince (“Purple Rain”) and Aaliyah (“One In A Million”).
