Soul impresario Charles Bradley released his third studio album Changes this spring on Daptone Records imprint Dunham Records, and has spent the majority of 2016 on the road in support of the widely praised album.
Today, the 67-year old singer heads back to his Brooklyn home after an extensive European leg of his tour and, to celebrate, has just released a new video for album track “Good To Be Back Home.”
Filmed in and around Bradley’s Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn home and including a cameo from his beloved parrot Nickie, the video was directed and edited by Andrew Swartz. It also features live footage from Bradley’s shows at The Theatre at Ace Hotel (LA), The Observatory (San Diego), Pappy + Harriet’s (Pioneertown, CA) and Bonnaroo.
Since the beginning of 2016, “The Screaming Eagle of Soul” has been on the go, performing shows across the globe and making a number of national television appearances. After a few days at home, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires will head back out on the road, bringing his riveting live show back to stages across North America & Europe on tour through the end of the year.
