On Monday night (Dec. 5), VH1 helped kicked off the holidays with their special concert “Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night,” held at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.

After a four-year hiatus of “VH1 Divas,” the network returned with a festive spectacle of holiday cheer through performances by some of today’s great singers and young stars.

The evening was blessed by the Queen of Christmas herself, Mariah Carey, who opened the show with her classic original song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”  Following MC, came the trio of JoJo, Serayah, and Bebe Rexha, who sang “All Alone on Christmas.”

Legendary songstress Patti LaBelle shook the building with her tremendous vocals, performing her 1992 single “When You’ve Been Blessed (Feels Like Heaven).”  The legends continued to grace the stage, including Vanessa Williams who gave a stellar performance of “Save The Best for Last” and “What Child Is This.”

Singer/actress/dancer Teyana Taylor seduced the audience with a very sexy performance of “Santa Baby,” and buzzing singer/songwriter Diana Gordan got everyone in the holiday spirit with “Jingle Bell Rock.”

The legendary Chaka Khan closed out the show with a commanding medley performance of “Ain’t Nobody,” “Natural Woman,” and “I’m Every Woman” joined by Patti LaBelle, and then the rest of the divas.
