What would make a morning commute better than an impromptu live performance from John Legend in a subway station!
That’s what happened to some lucky travelers at London’s St. Pancras station on Wednesday morning (Mar. 29). Apparently, it’s International Piano Day, so the R&B star felt like giving folks an unexpected morning treat with a short set at the train stations famed grand piano.
Legend tickled the ivory keys with a medley of hits, including “Ordinary People,” “All of Me,” and his Darkness and Light ballad “Surefire.” The singer/songwriter was in town to promote the album as well as it’s upcoming supporting tour, which kicks off May 12 in Miami.
He will bring the trek to the UK in the fall, starting September 8 in Glasgow.
Check out the footage of his performance, and UK tour dates below.
