Following his amazing collaboration with BJ The Chicago Kid on “Angel/Your Love,” we have been treated to another taste of Mr Jukes anticipated debut album God First.
Also known as Jack Steadman, the singer turned producer, who was previously the frontman of popular UK band Bombay Bicycle Club, returns with a lush love song called “Tears” featuring singer Alexandria. On his newest release, the gifted artist shares emotional memories of a past relationship that got him caught up in some deep feels.
“You know that I hide them / Dry them / But if I’m crying, surely this is one of a kind,” he sings. “I keep falling in love / You keep falling in trouble / I keep falling in love, with you.”
Mr Jukes will release his debut album, God First, on July 14 via Island Records, it is set to include additional features from Lalah Hathaway, Lianne La Havas, Charles Bradley, Elli Ingram and more.
