Bruno Mars Performs “Versace On The Floor” at Billboard Music Awards

By

Live from Amsterdam, Bruno Mars closed out Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards with another spectacular performance of “Versace on the Floor,” while on his “24K Magic World Tour.”

Opening solo on stage, Mars delivered a romantic performance of the sexy, throwback-inspired slow jam. He added more retro flair with his laser light show, and then showed off some slick dance moves as the chorus kicked in, and his band joined him. Meanwhile, the set transformed with Tetris-like blocks which lowered to the stage for additional displays of yellow lighting, added to the blue and purple hues.

For the finale, the 24K Magic star rose atop a platform which then displayed a giant Versace logo.

Despite his show-stopping performance, the R&B crooner walked away empty handed on last. He was up for three Billboard Music Awards including: Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Album (24K Magic), and Top R&B Song (“24K Magic”).
