Syracuse raised indie artist Famous is coming to claim summer with his brand new single, “She Got It.”
After making waves on social media with his viral impression of Toni Braxton singing Rihanna’s “Work,” the R&B singer/songwriter delivers for his growing fan base. The new single is a perfect mesh of ’90s nostalgic melisma with a modern twist. The uptempo tune, produced by DJ Primetime, assures not to worry, “She got everything I want, everything I need.”
Famous grew up singing in church, and gospel choirs. “I fell in love with R&B at a young age because my mother was a huge R&B fan,” he says. “I’ve always known that’s what I wanted to do, singing has always been my passion, and entertaining. I’m probably one of the biggest clowns you’ll ever meet.”
Now residing in New York City, the crooner has already performed on major rite-of-passage stages including B.B. Kings, Webster Hall, SOB’s and more, while also receiving a major co-sign from Missy Elliot. Upon hearing his new single, any fan of ’90s R&B will see why.
