The buzzing songstress keeps the excitement going around her critically acclaimed debut album, Ctrl, with the release of her long-awaited music video for “Drew Barrymore.”
We can’t get enough of the beautiful singer/songwriter who gives fans a playful look into her life throughout the Dave Meyers-directed visuals. Filmed this past winter in New York, the video finds SZA and her friends waking up from a late night in the city. They hit the street dancing through a crosswalk emulating The Beatles iconic Abbey Road image. After playful times at the train station and in the snow, SZA surprises by going nude in a laundromat, wearing only a veil.
Later, Solana and her friends keep the fun going as they head out to another party. However, the biggest moment of the video comes in the middle of the night, as she runs into Drew Barrymore, the actress who inspired the track.
Earlier this week, SZA celebrated her No. 3 debut on the Billboard 200 with Ctrl, which was released on June 16.
