T-Pain has a very special show in the works for fans of the platinum hitmaker. Known for his prolific use of Auto-tune as an effect on his voice, the singer/songwriter has announced his first ever acoustic tour.
Teddy P took to Instagram on Tuesday (Aug. 22) to announce the 6-date trek, which will kick off Oct. 4 in San Francisco before making its way through West Hollywood, Chicago, New York, and Cambridge. Joined by Smino and Felly on select dates, the tour will conclude in Washington, DC on Oct. 30.
“Hitting the road this October for an Acoustic Tour,” he wrote. “I wanted to do something different for you guys…performing some of my favorite songs in a way you’ve never seen or heard.”
The tour announcement follows the confirmation of a forthcoming project titled OBLiViON, which is due out in November.
