The stars are realigning for talented Long Island native Jordan Bratton.
Following his infectious comeback song “Pieces,” the singer-songwriter-producer quickly comes back with the reflective “Sunsets.”
An ode to his mother, the smooth track–written and produced by Bratton–finds the 22-year-old sharing the enduring love he has for his mom, and how he just wants to give her back everything she gave him.
“I try to remain humble / And to always pay attention / And I think about the outcome, so she can think about the weather / Only want her to think about how beautiful the sunset is / While she’s laughing on the beach,” he sings. “And I can’t even lie / You can’t put a price on piece of mind / So don’t even try / It’s a total waste of time.”
“Sunsets” is the second release of Bratton’s forthcoming mixtape, Driver’s Ed, which is due out this fall via Rebirth Entertainment/1009 Records/RCA Records.
